A PROGRAM OF THE MILWAUKEE JEWISH FEDERATION
TIME TO UNITE
Hours Against Hate is a movement to help end hate in Milwaukee and throughout our greater community. Powerful in its simplicity, Hours Against Hate was founded on the idea that one-to-one interactions between individuals who are different from each other can promote respect and dismantle bigotry. The program mobilizes participants to spend an hour or more interacting with someone of a different race, culture, religion, tradition, class, sexual orientation, gender, or physical ability.
Hours Against Hate is a proud co-sponsor of Damascus Gate.
"LUNCH HOURS AGAINST HATE"
We are challenging local businesses and schools to use one lunch hour a month to fight hate and discuss
ways to strive for peace together
in our community.
Every week we offer a new ethical dilemma question that will challenge yourself, your family, your students, your co-workers and your friends. View this week's question now!
"COFFEE HOURS AGAINST HATE"
Every month, HAH Coordinator Andrea Bernstein engages in conversations with people around town who may look, live, love or pray differently than she does in order to demonstrate how the program works. Grab a coffee and join us on Facebook Live!
