Bridget Thoreson is a married mother of two who moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette University and never left. She works as a consultant for Hearken, an organization that helps newsrooms connect with their audiences. As a gay woman, she can discuss LGBT issues, particularly around navigating the legal system and determining how to be true to yourself in different personal and professional situations.​
